1. What is TR?

TR is an important variety in synthetic fibers and is the trade name of polyester fiber in China . It is a fiber-forming polymer prepared by esterification or transesterification and polycondensation of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) or dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) and ethylene glycol (EG) . - Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), fibers made by spinning and post-treatment .

2, the definition of TR

Polyester is an important variety in synthetic fiber. It is the trade name of polyester fiber in China. It is esterified with purified terephthalic acid (PTA) or dimethyl formate (DMT) and ethylene glycol (EG). A fiber-forming polymer prepared by transesterification or polycondensation, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is spun and post-treated. Polyester fabric is a kind of chemical fiber fabric used in daily life. Its biggest advantage is that it has good wrinkle resistance and shape retention, so it is suitable for coat clothing.


3, TR performance

(1) High strength, short fiber strength is 2.6~5.7Cn/dtex, high-strength fiber is 5.6~8.0Cn/dtex. Due to low hygroscopicity, its wet strength is almost the same as dry strength, impact strength ratio Nylon is 4 times higher and 20 times higher than viscose.

(2) The elasticity is good, the elasticity is close to the wool. When the elongation is 5%~6%, it can be almost completely recovered. The wrinkle resistance is higher than other fibers, that is, the fabric is not wrinkled, the dimensional stability is good, and the elastic modulus is 22~141cN/ Dtex, 2 to 3 times higher than nylon.

(4) The wear resistance is good, and the wear resistance is second only to the nylon with the best wear resistance, which is better than other natural fibers and synthetic fibers.

(5) Light resistance is good, and light resistance is second only to acrylic fiber.

(6) Corrosion-resistant, resistant to bleaching agents, oxidizing agents, hydrazines, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids, resistant to dilute alkali is not afraid of mildew, but hot alkali can decompose it.

(7) The color resistance is poor. Polyester fabrics have poor hygroscopicity and are sultry, and are easy to carry static electricity and stain dust, which affects the appearance and comfort. However, it is very easy to dry after washing, and the wet strength is hardly decreased, it is not deformed, and it has good washing and wearability.

(8) Polyester is the best heat-resistant fabric in synthetic fabrics. The melting point is 260 degrees Celsius and the ironing temperature can be 180 degrees Celsius. It has a thermoplastic, pleated skirt and long pleats. At the same time, polyester fabrics have poor resistance to melting, and in the case of soot, Mars and the like are easy to form holes. Therefore, try to avoid contact with cigarette butts, sparks, etc. when wearing.


4, the name and use of TR

    TR called polyester, i.e. viscose blended fabric, a polyester (Polyester) component accounted for more than 60% of rayon (Rayon) blended or blended yarn fabrics, are generally used for the suit. Where T is Polyester polyester and R is Rayon artificial Tr cotton (viscose). TR is the abbreviation of the English name Terylene , which is commonly known as “the good ” in China . Polyester is widely used in the manufacture of clothing fabrics and industrial products. Polyester has excellent shape properties. The flattened, fluffy form or pleats produced by the polyester yarn or fabric after being shaped, can be used for a long time without being washed in many times.   
     TR fabric is a polyester-viscose blend fabric. Polyester-viscose blend is a highly complementary blend. Polyester and sticky are not only cotton, wool, but also medium and long. Wool fabrics are commonly known as "quick bars." When the polyester is not less than 50%, the blended fabric can maintain the firmness, wrinkle resistance, dimensional stability and strong washability of the polyester. The incorporation of viscose fiber improves the breathability of the fabric, improves the resistance to fusion, and reduces the pilling and antistatic phenomenon of the fabric.   Polyester is also known as Terry, and Americans call it "Dakken". When it appeared on the Hong Kong market, people translated it into a well-known name in the Cantonese language. 
 Polyester is the simplest of the three synthetic fibers, and the price is relatively cheap. In addition, it has the characteristics of strong durability, good elasticity, not easy to deform, corrosion resistance, insulation, crispness, easy to wash and dry, and so on. 
 Polyester is widely used in the manufacture of clothing and industrial products. Because retardant polyester with a permanent flame retardant, wide range of applications, in addition to textiles, building decoration, interior decoration and other vehicles irreplaceable role to play, still play a lot of action in the field of protective clothing. 
 According to the national standards for flame-retardant protective clothing , fire- retardant protective clothing should be used in metallurgy , forestry , chemical , petroleum , fire-fighting and other departments. The number of people who should use flame-retardant protective clothing in China is more than one million, and the market potential of flame-retardant protective clothing is huge. In addition to pure polyester flame retardant, according to the special requirements of users, the production of flame-retardant, waterproof, oil repellent, anti-static, and other multi-functional products. For example, the waterproof and oil-repellent finishing of the flame-retardant polyester fabric can improve the functionality of the flame-retardant garment; the flame-retardant polyester and the conductive fiber are interwoven to produce an antistatic flame-retardant fabric; and the flame-retardant fiber is blended with the high-performance fiber. It can produce high-performance flame-retardant fabrics; it is blended with flame-retardant fibers and fibers such as cotton and viscose to improve the comfort of protective clothing and reduce secondary burns. 

5, the characteristics of TR

 

( 1 ) .TR is a synthetic fiber, rayon polyester-viscose blend fabric, cotton type, hair type, etc.

( 2 ) . The fabric is smooth and clean, with bright colors , strong hair feel, good handfeel, good moisture absorption, strong anti-wrinkle and stable size .

( 3 ) . It has good gas permeability and anti-melting property, which reduces fabric fluffing, pilling and static phenomenon, but has poor ironing resistance.

 6, the properties of TR 
 (TR) Polyester is a polyester fiber with excellent elasticity and recovery. The fabric is crisp, wrinkle-free, good shape retention, high strength, good elasticity and long-wearing, and has excellent light resistance, breathability and drainage. Wet performance, however, is prone to static electricity and poor hygroscopicity. Has strong acid and alkali resistance and UV resistance.   7, TR identification method 
 When igniting, the fiber first shrinks, ignites, and then burns. The flame is yellowish white, very bright, smokeless, difficult to catch fire, and has a fragrant smell after burning. The ash is black and hard and can be crushed with fingers. 
 8. The meaning of the values and symbols on the TR fabric 
    Such as: T / R 80 / 20 32 / 2 * 32 56 * 48 * 63" 
 T/R: indicates polyester. 
 80/20: Indicates that this Tr Fabric is composed of %80 polyester and %20 adhesive.  
 32/2*32/2: 32/2 , which means the number of yarns and strands of the fabric. This means that the fabric is 32 yarns and 2 strands. 
 56*48*63”: 56 indicates the warp of the yarn in the fabric, 48 indicates the weft of the yarn in the fabric; 56*48 indicates that within 1 square inch (ie 2.54 cm 2 ), 56 warp threads pass through 48 weft threads; 63", indicating the width of the fabric.
